Conference speaker interviewed in an on-site podcast studio after their session

Get Your Event Speakers Into an On-Site Podcast Studio

September 20, 2026•2 min read

Booking strong speakers is most of the work behind a good conference. What happens to their insight after they leave the stage is a separate problem, and it's one most events don't solve. A keynote lasts thirty minutes and reaches the people in the room. An on-site podcast studio gives that same speaker a second format built to reach everyone else.

The Studio Draws Out What the Stage Leaves Scripted

A stage presentation is scripted, timed, and one-directional. It's built to deliver a message to a room. A podcast studio conversation works differently — it's a back-and-forth that surfaces things a prepared talk doesn't, the reasoning behind a decision, the disagreement with conventional wisdom, the story that didn't make it into the slides. Attendees who saw the keynote get something new when they hear the same speaker in an interview format. Attendees who missed the session get access to the speaker's thinking anyway.

It Turns One Appearance Into Multiple Assets

A single studio session with a speaker can be cut into a full episode, several short clips, and quote graphics, each usable on a different channel. That's a meaningfully larger footprint than a single stage appearance produces on its own, and it comes from the same fifteen or twenty minutes the speaker was already on-site.

Speakers Want This as Much as the Event Does

Most speakers are building their own audience and reputation alongside whatever they're promoting on stage. A produced podcast appearance, distributed by the event and shareable by the speaker, benefits both sides. It's a reason for high-profile speakers to say yes to an event, and a reason for them to promote their appearance once it's live, extending the event's reach through the speaker's own following.

Scheduling It Is Simpler Than It Sounds

The studio runs on-site, next to the stage or in a dedicated area near the main flow of traffic, and speakers move through it right before or after their session while they're already present. That means no separate shoot to schedule and no travel to arrange, and it closes the gap between the speaker's time on stage and their time in the studio.

If your lineup includes speakers worth hearing more from, put them in front of the microphone while they're already in the building. Learn more at podplusstudios.com/mobile-podcast-studios.
